The CDBS is a Government incentive that provides $1000 over two consecutive calendar years for dental treatment involving children between the ages of 2 – 17. This applies to families that are eligible for Medicare and receive a relevant Australian government payment, such as Family Tax Benefit Part A at any point in the calendar year. The two year cover commences when the child first receives an eligible dental service. Services include: examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. The team at Dental South would be delighted to see your children and our receptionists are available to help assist you in contacting Medicare to check eligibility.
