I was born in South Korea but I’ve spent most of my life in Australia. After graduating from the
University of Queensland I spent most of my time working in the rural south coast of NSW
During this time, I realised how many people were afraid of dentists from a traumatic experience in
the past. It changed my philosophy treating patients in the dental clinic in two ways –
explaining all the procedures so that my patients can understand what I am about to do and actually listening to
them about their past experiences. Nothing makes me happier than seeing anxious patients walking
out of my office with a great smile on their faces. It is amazing how having a good smile improves
your esteem and confidence. My hobbies include hiking, playing badminton, watching movies and
I’m also a huge fan of Game of Thrones.
I most value honesty and genuineness; I value honesty coming from my patients and also from myself.
