Angela Liu
Oral Health Therapist
Angela Liu graduated from the University of Otago in 2016 and spent six years working as an oral health therapist in New Zealand. In 2023, she relocated to Melbourne before making the move to Tasmania, seeking a change of pace and new adventures. Now happily part of the team at Dental South, Angela brings both experience and enthusiasm to her role.
Outside of work, Angela is passionate about the outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, climbing, or diving, she’s always up for an adventure that takes her into nature. Recently, she discovered freediving and quickly became hooked on the sport. Her goal is to dive deeper and explore more of the ocean’s wonders, fueling her love for the natural world.
In dentistry, Angela’s sense of humor shines through—when asked what she enjoys most, she jokes, “Extractions.” But in truth, what she finds most rewarding is seeing the beautiful, confident smiles of her patients. For Angela, creating positive outcomes for her patients is what makes her work meaningful.
