Dr Valerie Hach

Dr Valerie Hach graduated from the well known National Taiwan University in 2002. After graduation, Valerie practiced in the most populated capital city as well as rural areas in Taiwan up to 2007.This experience had expanded her skill and knowledge in dentistry. In 2007, she met her husband in Launceston and later on they decided to make Tasmania their home.

Living in Tasmania for 12 years, Valerie enjoyed very much the friendliness and genuine of her patients. She understands that we are not living in a perfect world and finding the best and practical treatment plan for her clients is always her mission. When seeing her clients walking out her room with confidence and big smile on their faces, it brings the greatest joy to her heart.

Dr Valerie’s gentle and calm approach to her clients has helped many anxious patients feel relaxed and safe in the dental chair. Knowing prevention is better than cure, her focus for dentistry is to empower patients to self-care their teeth daily through education and periodic follow-up. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular dental extractions and rehabilitations. Dr Hach can speak fluent Mandarin as well as Taiwanese and some German.

Outside dentistry, Valerie loves food. She cooks a wide range of food especially Asian and European dishes. Learning piano since 6, Dr Hach every now and then enjoys playing a tune from “Bach”. When the sun shines, Valerie likes to hide away with her husband for a hike in the bush… Sometimes it goes on for days.
